In collaboration with Exawatt/CRU, PVEL releases a quarterly Solar Technology and Cost (STAC) Forecast. The report offers module buyers forecasts for PV module efficiency, form factor, and up to 5-year price indicators.
The focus varies between reports and is driven by the most topical issues at any given time. Typical areas of discussion include polysilicon, ingots/wafers, cells, modules, silver, glass, and shipping. Price forecasts are based on bottom-up modeling of manufacturing costs, manufacturer gross margins, and any relevant import tariffs.
